Nice upscale neighborhood eatery. I'm not a fan of the 5% kitchen staff fee, fully support them getting paid fairly, just find these extra line item charges on already high priced meals to be price deception. I ordered a beer and the reuben. The bartender wasn't much help with the menu. The corned beef was delicious and definitely great quality but the sandwich is pretty greasy. I found the pub fries limp and underwhelming. I wouldn't make this a destination but if you're looking for pub fare in this area and want an upscale atmosphere.

Foodsmith is amazing!! The food is so unique and delicious. Alyssa was my server/bartender, and she made the experience so fun and positive! She also gave me great recommendations for food and drinks. Chef Robert also made phenomenal food! Go over and see Alyssa and Robert and get some awesome food!

Went for Sunday brunch and it was amazing in all aspects. The Farmer’s Breakfast Pan will probably be in my mind for days to come, the blueberry pancakes were delicious (loved the syrup and whipped cream), and my wife got the Viennese breakfast with sausage and loved it (she said they were the best scrambled eggs she thinks she’s ever had). I ate it all, pal. Parking on the street right outside the restaurant was super easy. The service was all incredibly friendly and attentive, and the place has a wonderful vibe. So glad we found this place - we’ll be back!

Decent food and a good club sandwich. Lots of beers on tap. September 2024: I hadn't been here in a while so we stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. They were having trivia night but they found us a table in their annex room and said we could play trivia too. They never gave us a tablet or instructions to play and forgot about us for a while. Waitress takes our beer order and funny thing is, I can see through the barn doors on the wall to the bar. The bartender is fraternizing with two people at the bar that he was VERY interested in and was not making drinks or pouring beers, including ours. 15 minutes go by and I see waitresses start pouring their own beer orders because he is too busy. I was about to walk out and leave but he finally poured our beers and our poor waitress delivered them in seconds. But no apology for the wait. Food was very good, the havarti club for me and salmon and rice bowl for my wife. Waitress didn't check on us to see how our food was, just cleared our plates when done. The bill comes and there is an automatic 5% kitchen wage charge added. I don't agree with that policy.

FoodSmith is a great spot to grab a bite. I’m a foodie at heart and I love having this gem in my neighborhood. The staff is great, the atmosphere is on point, and the food is tasty. This trip I tried the parmesan garlic wings and they were perfectly crispy, and exploding with flavor. The pub pizzette was really good too. Have you ever heard of shaved apples on a pizza? Me either, but it’s a flavor combination that hits the spot. My favorite go to item is the crispy chicken sandwich. So far everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Stop in for a bite, you won’t regret it.

Keep this quaint neighborhood restaurant/bar alive! We need this in our hood! Delicious unpretentious food, amazing wait staff, yummy cocktails and for my Dad-Hamm's beer. The food was phenomenal! Loved the turkey sandwich, steak was so good, spaetzle was a treat. I need to go back for trivia night on Saturdays!

Stopped in for trivia on Saturday night! Loved the menu and food here. The blackberry lemonade was good, but the lavender lemonade was a bit too sweet. We ordered the Brussel sprouts which were delicious! The harvest salad and chicken sandwich were also really good. Our server rushed us a quite a bit near the end, even though it was clear we were there for trivia and would be staying (there was no need for extra tables anyway). She came around too many times, cleared plates with food still on them without asking, and went so far as to wait at our table to watch me finish my last bites of salad so she could take my plate away… it was a bit rude and pushy. Otherwise, really enjoyed the evening and playing trivia here.

Going to miss seeing Courtney’s wonderful self and having her serve/bartend here. Service was good, food was a hit or miss. Had a really good burger and some decent mac and cheese for dinner here. But none of the appetizers beside the cheese curds were that yummy. Shrimp nachos, fries, and spring rolls missed the mark for me. Some items seemed pretty pricey.
